About Me
Training and Credentials
I received my foundational training in hypnosis and hypnotherapy from the Hypnotherapy Training Institute. HTI is one of the original institutes teaching hypnotherapy and widely respected and regarded as a leading school worldwide. Randall Churchill founded HTI in 1978 and continues to be the main instructor. HTI has the largest alumni of any licensed hypnotherapy school. Many alumni who have years of experience using hypnosis in a wide spectrum of professions (from a Psychologist, to a surgeon, to a Hawaiian Kumu, just to name a few) return to teach.

Because it is an inner power we all possess, there are many ways to approach and utilize hypnosis. It was wonderful to have such a variety of fantastic in-person instruction and practice. I also got a great deal from learning the methods and philosophies of pioneering Hypnotherapists such as Milton Erickson, Gil Boyne, Ormond McGill, and Dave Elman. My studies and practical experience at HTI not only gave me a well-rounded toolbox to begin my practice, it also helped me develop an approach that reflects my natural strengths and abilities.

After graduating from HTI with a Master Hypnotist diploma and Advanced Hypnotherapy diploma, I went on to do more specialized training in Parts Therapy and Teaching Self Hypnosis to Groups from the California Hypnotherapy Academy, lead by Katherine Zimmerman.

I am a Certified Hypnotherapist in good standing with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. As part of my continuing education, I enjoy trainings on a broad variety of subjects and techniques from skilled practitioners all over the world.
I am most well-known for my work helping reconnect people to regular, deep, restful sleep patterns. But I enjoy assisting and empowering clients to utilize hypnosis as a tool to support all kinds of positive change in their lives.
